My son was born here prematurely at 7months and was kept in PICU for about a week. Nurses and staff were very attentive to him during this process and we were able to leave in about a week or so. Today, my son is five years old and is the best thing that ever happened to me. Thanks to the entire PICU Staff!!
The hospital doesn't have the "brand name" of other NYC hospitals. But when my daughter faced a very serious health issue, the entire hospital came through. From the ER thru Pediatric ICU, they delivered. The staff, especially the Pediatric ICU nurses were great. Based on my outcome, I can't give anything but 5 stars.
Ppl here treated me very well... I'm so glad coz they made me feel better
Went here for the first time to emergency room yesterday and after all i heard about it i was nervous but in pain and this hospital walking distance. Got here around 11:40pm and the waiting rooms for adult and pediatric were completely empty. I went straight to register and waited 3 mins to triage then straight to the back. Waited 10 mins to see the doctor and in total i was out within an hour and 15 mins. The doctors were great and caring. The staff were friendly and easy to talk with. Not sure how a busy day/night would have went but i am happy last night went well and satisfied my needs. It was also clean in there
I gave birth to my son here who is almost 2. I went to the emergency room with contractions and was taken to the triage for monitoring. I was checked about 3 times for dilation and had to have a C-section. The only down side was after the surgery I was in the recovery room for almost 8hours because they were waiting on discharges. My overall stay was good all the nurses were great and helpful. During discharge was another issue, as we were supposed to leave at 12pm and left at 3pm because there weren't any available wheel chairs.
Great hospital, My wife just delivered our first baby there and the entire staff was amazing. They made sure we understood everything that was happening at every step and were kind and compassionate. Ms.Greene and her staff were really helpful, showing my wife how to breastfeed but most importantly you could tell that they care about every patient that steps foot in the maternity ward. Thanks again for everything, we would definitely recommend this maternity to anyone who's expecting.
The waiting time is long, but they have good Doctors and you get quality care.

I am writing in my capacity as a private individual in order to praise the customer service and help that I received from a member of your staff at Brooklyn Hospital Center. The situation was that I and my wife decided that she would give birth at Brooklyn Hospital Center since we have made our research and have found good reviews about the hospital but we were still hesitating as giving birth far away from home is not an easy thing. It is clear to me that we would have changed our choice easily if MRS. SAKIBEH MUSTAFA wasn't there whose in my view, the most helpful member of staff I have come across in all my days at the hospital. I wouldn't forget her calls and follow ups and keeping reassuring and asking if we need anything. We found in her person the mother, the sister, the friend.. well, I can say the whole family as she was there for us the whole time advising and guiding us with every small detail. During our stay at the hospital, we could notice the amazing work Mrs. SAKIBEH was doing towards all the patients and especially the Arab community who most of them struggles in getting help and advices due to the language barrier. In addition to this, I'd like to thank all the hospital staff members for their efforts and especially SAKIBEH's manager GILDA, the reception staff (if I remember MRS. CARMEN), the nurses, the doctors (Especially MRS MARYAM MIRZAAGHA AND MR DMITRY YOUSHKO) and the BHC family. As a result of her efforts in supporting our attempts to give birth at BHC. I repeat that I have absolutely no doubt that, had she not been there, we would not have succeeded in our mission that easy. I was so grateful to her that I was absolutely insistent that I write to you in order to tell you of her efforts. I should say, incidentally, that MRS. SAKIBEH in no way prompted me to take this action. I know that you are extremely busy, but I would be very grateful if you could possibly assure me that you have passed on this information to her and that she has been praised for her outstanding work in the field of customer care. I remain in her debt. Many thanks. Saad Kraimi
